I know one thing, I will never purchase anything from the uplay store. The copy I received was from a NVIDIA voucher and it was not the steam version, but I'm sure the steam version is still cluttered with Uplay crap DRM. I just said the hell with it and Deleted any trace of UbiS#$% off my computer. After that debacle, yet again the game required me to download again. Took a while (20GB) once it was done while it was auto-patching I got a BSOD. Once it finished I tried starting up the game and gave me a download option on Uplay(instead of 'play') I checked where the game was and all the files were still there but it wouldn't play no matter what.
